History
Originally employed by Les Wykes (founder of the Metrapanel system), Mark has seen the system go through changes over time. When the business was sold to Fletcher Construction he took on the role of Quality Control, dealing a lot with Research and Development. We are true believers of the system and the benefits it has to offer. Mark now manages his own company 'Maxim Construction' which 90% of the projects use Metrapanel. "At Beetham Village we have been building with the Metrapanel Construction System since village construction started in 2006 and have now built more than 50 Metrapanel homes. Beetham Village, and its designers, HPA won the award for Best Continuing Care Retirement Village Plan, presented at the Australasian Over 50s Housing Conference in November 2010, reinforcing a good design and construction combination. This is not our first project with Metrapanel. HPA has worked with Metrapanel on several projects since 1999 and will continue to enjoy working with the Metrapanel team on future projects. The new Beetham Residential Care Hospital will be built from Metrapanel providing comfortable and cost effective solutions for the care of New Zealand’s elderly rest home and hospital residents."
